Now: Pensions has appointed Redington as an independent investment consultant to its trustee board.
Redington was chosen for its track record in analysing and advising on the balanced-risk style of investment management. This is a strategy that has been adopted by Now: Pensions.
The firm’s work with the master trust will not be limited to the diversified growth fund. It will advise on the overall investment proposition to help generate good member outcomes.
Now: Pensions trustee board chairman Nigel Waterson said Redington was picked for its insight and experience, which will benefit the trustees.
“The pensions market is rapidly evolving and as a master trust now operating with over 1 million members, we must ensure that our governance structure is continuously challenged and enhanced,” he added.
Redington head of defined contribution (DC) and financial wellbeing Lydia Fearn said she and her colleagues are excited to be working with Now: Pensions in supporting its members achieve greater financial security.
