Barnett Waddingham has hired Andy Parker as a consultant in its DC arm.
The national role will see Parker join the firm’s workplace health and wealth team.
He brings with him 10-years of experience of advising trustees and global businesses in Mercer’s DC & Financial Wellness division.
Parker (pictured) said this is an auspicious time to join the consultancy.
“During a time of increasing governance burden for DC pension schemes, Barnett Waddingham has an opportunity to stand above others in the industry and continue to show real commitment and support to their clients,” he added.
Parker will not be the last senior appointment in the firm’s DC arm. Head of DC Mark Futcher said another is on the way as the firm seeks to strengthen its offering.
