The chief investment officer (CIO) of Coal Pension Trustees Investment (CPTI), Stefan Dunatov, has become the latest member of the 300 Club.
The 300 Club is an independent group made up of leading investment professionals from across the globe with a mission to raise awareness about the potential impact of current market thinking and behaviours, and to call for immediate action.
Dunatov, who oversees £20bn of assets and is responsible for investment strategy and governance at CPTI, has 17 years’ industry experience. Prior to CPTI, he was director at Deutsche Asset Management, a portfolio Strategist at Equitas and economist at HSBC. He has also been an adviser at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand.
Dunatov said: “With the economic and financial landscape constantly changing, there is a need for investment professionals to challenge conventional thinking. I look forward to joining my colleagues in the 300 Club to continue the debate and increase market awareness.”

The 300 Club members continue to publish a series of papers which focus on some of the challenges the investment industry is facing, including dynamic asset allocation, manager selection, principal-agency relationship and client engagement.
