LawDeb Pensions Trustees has hired Brian Kilpatrick as a new trustee director in a move designed to increase its experience and expertise.
The chartered accountant quit the UK arm of Spanish lender Santander, where he was acting director of pensions, to take up the role.
Kilpatrick brings two decades of pension industry experience to a firm that he knows well having worked alongside its members for many years.
His knowledge of LawDeb came during his time at Santander asset management, where he advised institutions on investment strategy. Prior to this he spent a decade as head of investment at Marks & Spencer’s pension scheme.
Also on Kilpatrick’s CV are roles at Lincolnshire County Council’s pension scheme and Barclays Global Investors where he was an indexed equity fund manager.
