Investment consultant and fiduciary manager P-Solve has beefed-up its defined benefit (DB) team by appointing Ian Blake as a director.
The actuary spent almost a decade at Willis Towers Watson, rising to senior investment consultant where he worked with trustees on risk management strategies.
P-Solve co-head Ajeet Manjrekar welcomed the new director. “He has a great understanding of the investment challenges facing the DB pension scheme market as we continue to evolve our client-led solutions.
“Ian’s appointment reflects our continued commitment to support the evolving needs of our existing and future clients with strong investment consulting expertise,” he added.
News that Blake (pictured) is joining the firm follows the appointment of Damon Hopkins as an associate director in its defined contribution (DC) consultancy team in September.
