Pension services specialist RPMI has welcomed a new face to its senior management team as part of a shake-up of its leadership structure.
Paul Sturgess (pictured) will become managing director of the firm’s pension administration business in January, when he will be responsible for clients such as the Railways Pension Scheme.
He joins from Equiniti where he was a director for the private sector, responsible for clients, administration and software propositions.
Sturgess appointment coincides with news that deputy chief executive David Maddison becomes scheme managing director.
Sturgess brings three decades of pensions and life assurance experience to the organisation, which RPMI chair Babloo Ramamurthy said has included working on several “leading-edge” pension developments.
“We are confident that Paul will be a valuable addition to the team, bringing strong leadership skills and enthusiasm to drive our pensions business forward,” he added.
Sturgess said RPMI has a fantastic reputation, which he looks forward to help continue building.
