Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) has appointed Simon Chinnery in the newly-created role of head of DC client solutions.

Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) has appointed Simon Chinnery in the newly-created role of head of DC client solutions.

Chinnery (pictured) joins from JP Morgan Asset Management where he spent 11 years, most recently as head of UK DC. Prior to this, he was head of the UK institutional business at ABN Ambro and has previously held roles at Schroder Investment Management and Gartmore Investment Management.

He will report to LGIM head of institutional client management and strategy Chris DeMarco and head of DC Emma Douglas.

DeMarco said: “We are excited to welcome Simon on board as head of DC client solutions and a DC client relationship manager. In his new role, he will also work closely with the DC and investment teams to further develop our DC investment strategy.

“Simon has a wealth of experience working with clients and consultants, and his appointment reflects our commitment to developing LGIM’s competitive DC proposition.”
